Protegrity Promotes Terri McBride to EVP, Global People and HR, and Kaitlin Hartshorn to VP, Legal Affairs
Protegrity, a global leader in data security, announced the expansion of its executive leadership team with the promotions of Terri McBride (EVP, global people and HR) and Kaitlin Hartshorn (VP, legal affairs) following the appointment of Paul Mountford as CEO in November 2021. The newly expanded leadership team will enable Protegrity to streamline company operations and support continued revenue and employee growth.

In her new role, McBride will oversee all HR and people management functions of Protegrity across its global workforce of over 400 employees. She brings more than 15 years of experience in human capital, transformational change, organization design, talent management, and performance management. McBride specializes in creating high-performing cultures that enable individuals and organizations to deliver strategic and operational results. Prior to joining Protegrity, McBride spent a majority of her career with A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Company. Her industry experience spans the technology, private equity, financial services, and professional services sectors. McBride holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in international relations from The Australian National University, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Montana State University.

Since joining Protegrity in 2017, Hartshorn has served as the company’s senior director of legal affairs. In her new role as VP, legal affairs, she will continue to handle all legal and corporate governance functions of the business globally. Hartshorn brings more than a decade of legal experience, specializing in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts that mitigate business risks for the company. Prior to joining Protegrity, Hartshorn held various legal positions at an asset management and consulting firm. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Skidmore College and her Juris Doctorate from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Hartshorn is a member of The New York State Bar Association and The Florida Bar.
