GoldenTree Asset Management Announces Alysia Love as Chief Talent Officer

GoldenTree Asset Management  a global asset management firm with over $50 billion in assets under management, announced the addition of Alysia Love as Chief Talent Officer and Partner .

Love will focus on GoldenTree’s human capital strategy, including talent acquisition, development, performance coaching, and mentorship of GoldenTree employees to position the firm for further growth. Love will be based in New York and will report directly to the Executive Committee, chaired by Steve Tananbaum, GoldenTree’s Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer.

Tananbaum said, Alysia has worked closely with GoldenTree for almost 5 years and we are excited to have her join the team full-time as our first Chief Talent Officer. She will play a pivotal role in cultivating talent and promoting GoldenTree’s culture as she drives talent acquisition and professional development within the firm.”

Love joins GoldenTree from Ellery Street where she advised the leadership teams of top financial firms on executive and organizational development, assessed key hires for their organizations, and supported executives in taking on broader or more complex leadership roles. She previously served as a Senior Principal at ghSMART, supporting investors and CEOs on key leadership and organizational challenges, including management due diligence and leadership succession. Prior to ghSMART, Love worked as a Director on the equity investment team at EARNEST Partners. She also previously held roles at Morgan Stanley and Hewlett Packard. Love received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Bates College. Love is also a CFA charter holder.
