Hyr Medical Responds to Physician and APP Staffing Shortages With Workforce Mobilization Program for Hospitals

Hyr Medical, an online marketplace that connects physicians, NPs, PAs and CRNAs with healthcare jobs, has announced a Workforce Mobilization Program to expedite the placement of physicians and APPs within high demand hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Hyr will waive their standard 20% markup on provider rates for any provider that is granted “fast track” or “emergency” privileges between now and April 30, 2020. As always, joining the platform and posting open needs is free for both providers and hospitals.

Executives at Hyr believe they can accelerate patient care during the current healthcare crisis by expediting the connection of providers with critical open needs at hospitals. Hyr’s Co-Founder & CEO, Manoj Jhaveri, stated, “Hyr believes in creating a world where space and time are no longer barriers to providing and receiving quality healthcare. Our platform has the power to immediately affect the lives of patients during this critical time. We want to be part of the solution.”

Hyr is also accelerating investments in technology and partnerships that significantly reduce the staffing cycle time, and speed up the credentialing process. An existing credentialing pilot with Cleveland-based blockchain company Axuall is already in motion.

As part of a massive outreach campaign, Hyr executives are engaging federal and state health and emergency response agencies to collaborate on key initiatives focused on COVID-19 relief. Offering a platform for hospitals to connect with providers quickly and easily without financial burden is critical to improving workforce mobilization during this time of national emergency.
