The Most Innovative Use of HR Technology During the Pandemic category recognized innovative new uses of existing HR-related technology, programs, and media during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep employees productive, trained, informed, or safe.
Epicor’ submission detailed how the company’s HR team realized the importance of using innovative technology to help drive operational efficiency amid a pandemic, introducing tools including MeBeBot, an AI-powered chatbot to serve its 4,000 global employees to quickly find specific information they need without creating email traffic so they could find out much-needed information about their benefits in a timely manner.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be conferred upon the winners during a virtual awards ceremony on November 5. More than 700 nominations from organizations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, and especially popular were six free-to-enter COVID-19 Response categories.
