Phenom Adds CFO, CHRO to Meet Surging Global Demand for Talent Experience Management

The creation of these roles demonstrates the company’s continued commitment to helping a billion people find the right job.

As CFO, Athwal brings over 25 years of experience building and leading world-class finance teams through high-speed growth in both public company and venture backed environments. He will focus on scaling Phenom’s financial infrastructure as the company continues to rapidly expand its global footprint and build out its platform. He has partnered closely with CEOs and Boards to increase shareholder value by improving operating performance, effective capital allocation and enhancing risk management and governance.

Athwal was most recently with OSG, a global fintech company that provides billing and payment solutions. Previously, he served as CFO for Blucora, a provider of tax software and data and technology-driven solutions to the wealth management industry. Prior to that, Athwal held progressively senior finance roles at UGI Corporation, Nortel, IBM and PwC.

As CHRO & chief evangelist, Elmquist will lead Phenom’s global HR team as the company continues to rapidly hire, train and inspire new employees around the world. He has decades of experience building a dynamic culture rooted in learning and team development. Elmquist has held multiple senior roles, including Chief Learning Officer & Executive Vice President of HR, Talent Acquisition at LifeTime, Inc. Previously, he served as President and a Boardmember at TrueWell, Inc. Elmquist is an inspirational speaker, trainer and an evangelist for why innovation in HR is imperative. In this role, he will also serve as an ambassador to his CHRO peers globally, particularly Phenom’s customers.
