Quess Corp. owns the businesses of Monster Worldwide, the parent company of monster.com, in India, South East Asia, and the Middle East. For the time being, only the India, Southeast Asia, and Middle East businesses will be rebranded to foundit. The rebranding has been in the works since Quess took over Monster, but it has been put on hold due to the pandemic and other factors.

According to Sekhar Garisa, CEO of foundit, the pandemic has fundamentally changed the way people work and businesses hire. “We have had the privilege of witnessing the talent acquisition landscape transform over the last three decades, providing us with an unparalleled depth of recruitment insights.” The platform of the future must accommodate a highly dynamic job market, skill-based hiring, and changing career expectations. “We are excited to announce a new direction for Monster, moving away from simply facilitating job and candidate discovery and toward significantly improved talent management outcomes,” he said.

“As an institution, steadfast on our commitment to formalize jobs in India, we have been focusing on building a product-led portfolio that can help democratize access to formal employment across White, Blue, and Grey collar workers,” said Ajit Isaac, founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Quess Corp, foundit’s parent company.

As per Isaac, over the last few years, organizations have experienced the ‘Great Resignation’ and the ‘Great Regret,’ which have resulted in mass hiring at an unprecedented rate. However, as the market settles, he predicts that hiring will become much more focused, focused, and skill-based. “Such precision can only be achieved through the combination of human ingenuity and technology,” he adds.
