New sales, marketing, and customer success leaders bring proven track record from high growth enterprise software organizations
Upland Software, Inc., a leader in cloud-based enterprise work management software, today announced the addition of three new executives to drive key go-to-market functions. Jim Rudden has joined Upland as executive vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO). Later this quarter, Virginia Miracle will join Upland as executive vice president and chief customer officer (CCO) along with Joseph Rodriguez, who will join Upland as senior vice president of global account sales.

These three leaders will report to Rod Favaron in his role as president and chief commercial officer.”
Rudden most recently served as CMO of Spredfast, where he led marketing at the company from a pre-revenue startup to a global leader in social media software, through its acquisition in 2018. Prior to Spredfast, Rudden was CMO of Lombardi Software, a category leader in business process management software, where he led worldwide marketing through its successful acquisition by IBM in 2010. Before Lombardi, Rudden held various executive positions in marketing, product management, and sales at Trilogy Software. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in American Studies.

Miracle joins Upland from ScaleFactor, where she led the customer success team as CCO. Previously, she grew the customer team from a startup to a global organization, supporting the world’s largest brands as CCO at Spredfast. She continued with Spredfast through its merger and relaunch as Khoros. Prior to Spredfast, Miracle led the social media consulting practice at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Before Ogilvy, Miracle held marketing positions at Dell and Trilogy Software. She is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in English.
Rodriguez joins Upland from a sales leadership consultancy, HASL, where he guided SaaS CEOs in organization design, leadership training, and forecasting for high growth businesses. Prior to HASL, he was the vice president of sales for North America at Spredfast, where he led three regional teams focused on new business acquisition and expansion across existing customers. Before Spredfast, Rodriguez was a sales leader at Adometry, acquired by Google, and Click Forensics. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Journalism, Broadcasting, and Public Relations.
