A board-certified physician with nine years of experience in primary care, telemedicine, urgent care and health management, Dr. Pechter brings to HealthJoy an extensive background in improving patient outcomes and satisfaction while minimizing unnecessary healthcare costs.

The HealthJoy mobile app gives members access to online medical providers and a team of healthcare concierges that can explain their benefits, recommend providers, resolve billing errors, and more. At the center of the experience is JOY, an AI-powered virtual assistant that helps with year-round benefits education and personalized member outreach. As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Pechter will oversee clinical care operations and be responsible for identifying additional ways to provide proactive, high-quality care to members while mitigating their healthcare spending. She will also help integrate third-party clinical programs, assist in bringing deeper clinical capabilities to the concierge staff, and improve JOY.

She joined the company as one of three original Virtual Care Physicians.
