Metafy helps gamers of all skill levels win more through one-on-one coaching from the best players in the world. From aspiring professionals to casual players wanting an extra advantage to parents looking to keep up with their kids, Metafy gives gamers, of which there are more than 214 million in the United States alone, the ability to book world-class lessons instantly and chat with coaches in real time.
Metafy’s coaches are among the most respected in the gaming community, hand-selected from the top 1% of today’s players with combined tournament winnings exceeding $1.5M. The company has moved rapidly since its founding in August, quickly becoming the platform of choice for many of the world’s best players turned coaches, in large part due to its caliber of talent, ease of use and earnings potential. Compared to other platforms that take 20 to 30%, Metafy coaches keep 100% of their fees.

“We started Metafy to help talented people monetize their skill – something they don’t often realize has value,” said Metafy co-founder and CEO Josh Fabian. “Creating new careers in the passion economy is exciting to me.”
The idea for Metafy was born amid Fabian’s own experience seeking a Pokémon coach for his kids. He continued: “I realized how much better the experience could have been for my kids, myself as a parent and their coaches. When we needed Metafy and it wasn’t there, so we set out to build it. We’re working closely with top players across all games to rethink competitive learning from the ground up. Metafy is answering years of frustrations about how hard it is for average players to become great, and for great players to profit on the knowledge they’ve acquired over hundreds of hours of hard work.”
