“Vertex Systems has been operating since the early 1980’s with a strong reputation for service, and Dura Software wants to help Vertex keep pace offering access to additional services and support for its platforms,” said Paul Salisbury, President of Dura Software. “Dura is thrilled at the opportunity to leverage our successful business model into the human services industry arena and even more excited to be able to serve organizations doing the meaningful work of providing services for recipients with Intellectual or Development Disabilities (I/DD).”

Dura Software acquired Vertex Systems late last year, the second acquisition for Dura in 2020 following its agreement with Lane Technology Systems in Q4 2020. Vertex is the leading provider of software made exclusively for organizations providing vocational, day programs and residential services for adults with disabilities. It helps companies manage client records, collect time for clients and staff, billing resources and financial accounting.

Vertex Software, founded by Stanford Chandler and based in Columbus, Ohio, will move its corporate headquarters to San Antonio, but it will retain a workforce at its original location. Dura Software is committed to retaining staff during and after the transition.
