“We couldn’t be more thrilled to support this incredibly relevant and timely initiative”

The POST Promise— People Outside Safely Together — is an initiative designed to help Canadians confidently and safely take the first steps back into public spaces and the workplace. Endorsed by the Government of Canada, it signifies a commitment made by businesses to implement and practice workplace safety.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to support this incredibly relevant and timely initiative,” said Michael Coté, President, DCM. “The POST Promise demonstrates that businesses understand Canadians’ concerns regarding safety — and are taking steps to address those concerns head-on. We are proud to support the program, both as a communications partner and an advocate.”

The POST Promise is a private sector-led initiative that invites businesses to voluntarily commit to following five key steps in their place of business which help prevent the spread of the COVID-19. These steps include:

  1. Maintain physical distance
  2. Stay home if unwell
  3. Practice respiratory etiquette
  4. Clean and disinfect regularly
  5. Wash and sanitize hands

Businesses that make the promise can prominently display the POST Promise logo. The logo is not a certification or approval, but rather, a visual indicator to consumers that they can be confident a business is taking the necessary steps to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

DCM has been selected to execute all of the program’s on-site communications, including printing, kitting, and distribution to participating companies across Canada. As an essential services provider, DCM has taken extensive precautions to help keep employees safe while providing sectors like healthcare and grocery-retail with communications throughout the pandemic.
