“Like the Covid-19 pandemic, cyber security risks know no boundaries. Building on our successful African trade mission, tackling increasing cyber threats to businesses and individuals alike, we are delighted to announce our new partnership with BUI. With our integrated Microsoft solutions and joint understanding on the importance of both human defences and technical support to protect companies from cyber threats, we can jointly offer a timely, innovative and cost effective approach to much needed human cyber security risk management within the African market.”  Stephen Burke – CEO and Co-Founder Cyber Risk Aware.

Businesses are still not putting basic cyber security practices in place, despite numerous data breach headlines day after day. The rise of remote working through the current global pandemic, has heightened the surge of cyber security related risks, making employees even more vulnerable to cyber threats. With over 90% of data breaches occurring through human error, lack of staff security awareness training can be a costly error and it is imperative businesses take security awareness training seriously.  Even with this knowledge, there is still a massive lack in security awareness training within businesses. 75% of work from home employees have not received help from employers on security awareness, guidance or training for example. Sadly statistics such as these are not in isolation.
