Degrees@Work program will now be managed by Workforce Edge, a complete employee education benefits management platform
Today, Workforce Edge, the flagship education benefits management platform developed by Strategic Education, Inc., announced its relationship with consumer electronics retailer, Best Buy. Workforce Edge is designed to streamline education benefits and workflow management, combining intelligent automation, real-time insights, and personalized support to help organizations maximize the return on their education investment. The platform offers access to a broad network of education providers, enabling employers to tailor education benefits to meet their workforce priorities.
Through this work, Best Buy expands its collaboration with Strategic Education, Inc.—a trusted workforce education partner that helps more than 1,400 partners upskill and retain their workforce by providing access to tuition savings and other education benefits. By leveraging Strategic Education’s Workforce Edge platform, Best Buy can now scale and streamline its education benefits to serve its thousands of employees through a single, centralized portal.

The move to Workforce Edge for Best Buy’s education benefits management comes on the heels of the company’s February announcement that all full- and part-time employees would have pathways to no-debt, no-cost-to-the-employee college degree options in partnership with Strayer University’s Degrees@Work program. This program offers employees the opportunity to take coursework or earn a certificate, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree from Strayer University.
