PageUp People announced that its founder and major shareholder, Karen Cariss, will be transitioning on 1st July from her current role as CEO into the role of Chair of the Board, over two decades after launching the company. Ms. Cariss will be succeeded in the role of CEO by current CFO and COO, Mark Rice, who has been a member of PageUp’s leadership team since 2012. The transition is a long-standing arrangement with joint shareholders, Battery Ventures, to allow Karen to devote more time to her three children.
