As veteran unemployment continues to skyrocket, Aliro is making the job search for transitioning service members easier, announcing today the launch of a new partnership with the United States Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association (USCGAAA). The new partnership supports members in transferring the skills attained at the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) and throughout their careers with the U.S. Coast Guard to the civilian world.

As part of their initiative to strengthen career services for graduates from the USCGA, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association has partnered with Aliro to put into place a solution allowing members — and their spouses — to connect their unique skills and talents to job opportunities. This exciting new program not only provides pathways to success for jobseekers, but also promotes relationship building, mentorship, and advocacy.

USCGAAA’s new job referral program, powered by the Aliro platform’s military community feature, will:

  • Ease the transition from the USCG into civilian life by creating a job placement and referral ecosystem dedicated to USCG alumni.
  • Support networking and mentorship within the USCGAAA community by connecting employers with alumni who will have the opportunity to become future employers and mentors.
