Buck, an integrated HR and benefits consulting, administration, and technology services firm, announced that David Gillen, a Principal in Buck’s Pittsburgh office, has been appointed to the Health Practice as Analytics Leader.
In this role, Gillen will lead a best-in-class health analytics function at Buck and provide executive level consulting in analytics to identify and drive winning data strategies with clients.
Gillen previously led the growth and expansion of Innovu, Inc. from a startup to a significant national analytics player as VP of Partner and client relationships. Prior to joining Innovu, Gillen worked in the benefits consulting industry, most recently as a consultant at Willis Towers Watson where he focused on large, self-funded employers.
“A deep understanding of the data harnessed from both traditional and disparate sources can significantly improve a company’s HR infrastructure and drive positive outcomes with its stakeholders,” said Gillen. “I’m excited to broaden the insights we bring to clients and help them realize even greater business results through a purpose-driven approach to industry-leading data and analytics. Buck is making the right technology investments to drive real change for our clients.”
“In addition to his track record with clients, David’s hands-on experience building, designing, and implementing analytics solutions across the entire HR spectrum gives us a leg up on our competition,” said Dean Aloise, Managing Director, US of Buck. “We are very excited to bring David’s considerable expertise in-house.”
Gillen holds a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from Allegheny College and is finishing his master’s degree at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
