Phenom Launches Women in Tech Leadership Council to Advance AI Readiness Among Women in the Workforce
Phenom, the leader in applied AI built to redesign work operations for hiring faster, developing better and retaining longer, announced its Women in Tech Leadership Council, a practitioner-led forum where leaders across HR, HRIT and the C-suite build the strategic AI knowledge to navigate a changing workforce at a moment when AI is reshaping work faster for women than anyone else.

“This council exists so that the leaders shaping the AI experience across some of the world’s largest workforces don’t have to figure it out in isolation,” said Christina Brown, VP & GM, Global Customer Value at Phenom.
Women are 1.5 times more likely than men to need to transition into new occupations by 2030, according to McKinsey, because of their concentration in the roles most exposed to AI disruption. As the leaders responsible for preparing their entire workforces for that shift while building their own AI fluency, council members are uniquely positioned to learn among peers and shape what comes next.
The Women in Tech Leadership Council is the flagship program of Phenom’s Women in Talent and Technology Community, built to provide ongoing access to thought leadership, live programming, mentorship and practical guidance for translating AI developments into organizational impact. Through facilitated sessions and peer exchange, members work through how AI is redefining the nature of work, and ways to prepare employees for the same shift.
Moving from AI Awareness to AI Mastery and Action
Bringing together HR, HRIT and C-suite leaders from global enterprises including Thermo Fisher Scientific and Cboe, the council represents organizations that collectively employ hundreds of thousands of people and hire, develop and retain thousands more each year.
Across the initial two-day council meeting, members explored how AI is changing the day-to-day work of HR and talent professionals, and how they must prepare their own workforces for this shift. Moving forward, council members will continue to examine how AI advancement and workforce readiness will intersect over the next decade, the regulatory compliance landscape for hiring, and applied AI use cases for addressing today’s critical talent challenges such as candidate fraud.
“The most valuable resource in HR right now is not a tool or a report; it’s access to people who are navigating the same decisions,” said Christina Brown, VP & GM, Global Customer Value at Phenom. “This council exists so that the leaders shaping the AI experience across some of the world’s largest workforces don’t have to figure it out in isolation.”
To support ongoing AI readiness, Phenom is providing each organization represented in the council with a fully sponsored scholarship to the Phenom Credential Program, which includes structured learning paths, live virtual sessions, and SHRM and HRCI continuing education credits.
