We wanted to put accurate, India-specific compliance tools in front of any HR manager or founder for free.”

The new toolkit brings together calculators and reference guides that cover the areas Indian HR teams struggle with most: provident fund (PF), employees’ state insurance (ESI), gratuity, professional tax, take-home salary and the cost-to-company breakup. Each tool applies current Indian rules, so a growing company can check a figure in seconds instead of building spreadsheets by hand.
Alongside the calculators, the platform now publishes state-wise compliance data that changes from one state to another. This includes minimum wages, professional tax slabs, labour welfare fund rates, working-hour rules and the public holiday list for every Indian state and union territory. For a business that hires across multiple states, these pages remove a common source of payroll errors and penalties.
“Most small and midsize Indian companies do not have a dedicated compliance team, yet the rules differ in every state and change every year,” said a spokesperson for HRMS Software in India. “We wanted to put accurate, India-specific tools in front of any HR manager or founder for free, so getting payroll and statutory compliance right does not depend on the size of your team.”
The free resources sit alongside the company’s cloud-based HRMS and payroll platform, which automates attendance, leave, payroll processing and statutory filings for Indian organisations. The platform is designed for growing businesses that want to move off manual payroll and stay compliant as they scale.
