Phenom Unveils Agenda for AI Day 2026, Its Annual Technical Showcase Behind Applied AI & Agents for HR

Phenom, the leader in applied AI built to redesign work operations for hiring faster, developing better and retaining longer, detailed the full agenda for AI Day 2026, its annual event examining the contextual intelligence, agentic orchestration and governance that empowers enterprise human resources teams to confidently move from AI pilots to production.

“Anyone can claim an agent screens candidates or plans a career path,” said Mahe Bayireddi, CEO, Phenom. “We put the actual architecture, ontologies, guardrails and testing on screen, so HR and IT leaders can see how it scales for complex organizations.”

Many HR teams have piloted an AI agent that worked well in testing, then watched it lose accuracy once it hit a real queue of thousands of applicants or a role too specialized for a general model to judge well. The gap between a working demo and an agentic system hiring teams can rely on is exactly where AI Day will focus. Rather than describe AI in the abstract, the event puts the underlying engineering and AI frameworks on screen: how a system is built, tested and governed.

Enterprise Deployment Success Stories

Deployed customers will describe rebuilding intake and sourcing at scale, standardizing screening across global hiring teams, catching synthetic and deepfake applicants before they reach a recruiter, and using skills data to support broader change in how their workforce grows.

Orchestrating Agents for the Full Talent Lifecycle

An opening keynote on the current state of AI in HR, agent orchestration and governance, are followed by sessions that move through the full arc of the talent lifecycle:

• Architecting the Workforce as Units of Work: How enterprises turn structured and unstructured signals, including a hiring manager’s own words, into a model AI can apply across every role, function and geography
• Context-Driven Hiring, From Intake Through Compliance: A demonstration of agents handling intake, sourcing and outreach, alongside sessions on calibrating hiring from real-time feedback and writing job descriptions that withstand compliance review
• Skills Validation Through Screening and Interviewing: A look at agentic screening and interviews, including a voice agent built to hold context and detect natural conversation turns, plus autonomous interviewing and coding assessments in action
• Behavioral Intelligence and What Resumes Miss: A hands-on look at what durable skill assessments catch that a resume cannot, sharpened over time through ongoing feedback loops
• Hiring Integrity in the Age of Synthetic Talent: See the candidate fraud detection agent built to run continuously without losing accuracy, alongside a prompt-evolution technique that outperforms reinforcement learning for keeping pace with new fraud tactics
• AI Governance and Adverse Impact Monitoring: A look at the shifting AI regulatory landscape for HR and what it takes to build a governance program that monitors for adverse impact from day one
• Accelerating Agentic Outcomes: A real-time look at analytics running in production without a dedicated front-end, including how that experience can be delivered through the Model Context Protocol
• The Orchestration Engine and How Agents Are Governed: Opening up the system that governs every agent in production, showing how policies act as guardrails when they’re being built and run
• Preboarding Agents from Offer to Day One: A walkthrough of preboarding agents that keep context consistent across web, text and WhatsApp, alongside unified search agents that answer new employee questions across the enterprise
• Agents for Personalized Employee Development: Get a closer look at the agents building employee profiles, running skills assessments and coaching careers inside tools like Slack and Teams, without a separate login
• Agentic HR Strategy and the Transformation Engine: Discover how agents support role analysis, task intelligence, performance and succession planning at scale

“AI Day is where we show the depth of our longtime established AI frameworks,” said Mahe Bayireddi, CEO and co-founder of Phenom. “Anyone can claim an agent screens candidates or plans a career path. We put the actual architecture, ontologies, guardrails and testing on screen, so HR and IT leaders can see for themselves how it scales for the most complex global organizations.”
