Now in its ninth year, AnitaB.org’s Top Companies for Women Technologists program analyzes data on representation, employee experience, programs, and policies so that companies can continue to build more inclusive workplaces. The 2019 report for Ultimate highlighted several company policies that support its female employees, including:

  • Paid maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, with $10,000 (per child) in financial assistance to help cover legal costs associated with adoption
  • Unlimited PTO program, as well as opportunities for remote work and flexible schedules
  • Pay-equity policy for equal pay by gender, with annual audits to monitor policy execution
  • Leadership-development programs for women at all levels, including Ultimate’s Women in Leadership and Women in Technology Community of Interest groups offering opportunities for mentorship, networking, and volunteering in the community

More than 75 companies participated in AnitaB.org’s 2019 program, representing over 143,000 women technologists. Each company received a score based on several metrics, such as representation of women at all job levels, as well as the recruitment, retention, and advancement rates of women at these companies. Ultimate received the top score of all companies in its category and was announced as a Winner during AnitaB.org’s Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing conference in Orlando, Florida, on October 2.
