Menlo Microsystems,the company responsible for reinventing the electronic switch with its Ideal Switch technology, announced that it will be expanding its senior leadership team by hiring the company’s first Chief Operating Officer (COO). Yalcin Bulut has joined the company as COO and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Russ Garcia

Mr. Bulut joins Menlo Micro after serving the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at United Silicon Carbide (UnitedSiC, now Qorvo). Prior to that his leadership experience included Vishay, Inc. where he was the Vice President of Power Product Lines, along with Alpha and Omega Semiconductor where he guided the company’s strategic direction as Vice President of Discrete Product Lines.
The newly created COO position will lead several key functions at Menlo Micro. Mr. Bulut will oversee the sales, marketing, quality assurance and product areas of the company.

Mr. Bulut holds a Bachelor of Material Science Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and subsequently earned his Master of Business at Iowa State University.
