Legion had record growth, achieving more than 350% growth in ARR, and key customer wins, including Dollar General, Cinemark and RaceTrac Petroleum. These high-growth results follow the company’s significant expansion despite the onset of COVID-19.

Legion now has customers with a total of 450,000 employees in 15 countries. The company has rolled out more than 20,000 locations in the last six months and continues to support customers as they navigate the road to recovery with healthy worker capabilities, including contact tracing, healthy worker scheduling, and employee communication and collaboration tools.

Legion has also received industry accolades – being named a Gartner Cool Vendor in the human capital management category, included on the JMP Securities “Hot 100” list, and featured in the 2020 Gartner Market Guide to WFM Apps and 2020 Gartner Market Guide to Retail WFM Apps.

“Many of the industries that we serve are anticipating a slower path back to full normalcy after COVID-19, so it’s paramount to tightly manage labor spend. And, providing the right tools to employees, who are doing essential frontline work, is more important than ever,” said Sanish Mondkar, CEO and founder of Legion. “We have the right product to help employees and companies in these industries, so they can achieve the same transformational results that our customers have.”

Previously, she was VP of Marketing at LightStep and Sencha, and she held leadership roles at HP and Coverity, which was acquired by Synopsys.

“Kristin brings significant experience in B2B marketing and successful SaaS startups to her role as VP of Marketing,” said Mondkar. “She will be a key member of our management team as we continue to help our customers use modern technologies to maximize their labor efficiency and employee engagement simultaneously.”

“With all of the challenges companies have faced this year, having the right workers, at the right location, at the right time while improving employee engagement and optimizing labor costs is critically important,” said Brennan. “Legion has experienced record growth, and I’m joining the company to continue delivering on our mission to improve the work lives of hourly employees while also helping businesses to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and optimize workforce management.”
