DevOps Launchpad is designed to be a fun way for developers and admins to gain greater knowledge of the concepts and skills related to Salesforce DevOps. Modules offered on the platform are divided into bite-sized units, which are interspersed with quizzes. Salesforce teams can enjoy friendly competition over their scores even as they strive to attain meaningful certification, knowledge and skills. While DevOps Launchpad was conceived and built by Gearset, the courses are intended to be vendor neutral, free and open to any and all developers and admins seeking to improve their DevOps knowledge and skills.

“We are excited to offer DevOps Launchpad as a dynamic training platform available to the entire Salesforce developer community,” says Kevin Boyle, CEO and co-founder of Gearset. “Based on our first-hand experience providing DevOps solutions, we saw the opportunity to help Salesforce professionals develop their knowledge of and proficiency in Salesforce DevOps. That’s why when we built DevOps Launchpad we wanted to focus on helping the entire Salesforce developer ecosystem, not just customers of Gearset.”

This vendor-neutral approach guided Gearset’s development of the training platform. The Salesforce community enjoys a unique culture of professional development; learning how to use Salesforce is fun and accessible, while certification remains highly prized. Gearset aims to provide this same experience with DevOps Launchpad.

Gearset hopes DevOps Launchpad will support Salesforce professionals as they seek to implement DevOps best practices for their clients and employers, bringing increased agility, quality, and security to development on the platform for thousands of companies.
