Global Cybersecurity Solutions Provider, eSentire, Launches a New Technology Innovation Center in India

The Innovation Center will extend eSentire’s global footprint and give eSentire access to a pool of exceptional engineering talent, with expertise in cybersecurity, generative AI and low-code orchestration and automation.

eSentire, Inc., the Authority in Managed Detection and Response (MDR), announced today the opening of its new Technology Innovation Center in India, under the legal entity eSentire India Private Limited. The Innovation Center will extend eSentire’s global footprint and give eSentire access to a pool of exceptional engineering talent, with expertise in cybersecurity, generative AI and low-code orchestration and automation. The focus of the Innovation Center will be to accelerate the capabilities of eSentire’s Atlas XDR Cloud Platform across three core functions:

  • Low-code orchestration and automation to scale the security expertise of eSentire security analysts in stopping cyberattacks
  • Generative AI to augment investigation and response workflows for both end-users and the eSentire Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Further development of eSentire Intellectual Property, delivering native security detection, investigation and response across network, endpoint, log, cloud and identity data sources

Dustin Hillard, eSentire Chief Technology Officer, and Raghunath Konda, eSentire VP of Engineering, spearheaded the launch of the new Center in Bengaluru, including the hiring of 50 India-based software engineers, who will contribute to the enhancement of the Atlas XDR Cloud Platform.

“India is a thriving ecosystem of cybersecurity talent, particularly in cloud security and generative AI,” said Dustin Hillard, Chief Technology Officer at eSentire. “The opening of our Innovation Center in India will enable eSentire to fully leverage local talent to accelerate the capabilities delivered by our XDR platform as we continue to deliver industry leading MDR value with 24/7 SOCaaS, security monitoring and incident handling at scale.”

“Reputation is everything in this market and eSentire checked all the boxes,” said eSentire customer Ramakrishnan Natarajan, Head of IT, Emirates Hospitals Group. “When we had done just 10% of the deployment, I could see outcomes and I could tell the quality of research that goes behind the alerts was really impressive. To see eSentire continue to invest in our region and expand their presence across India only demonstrates their commitment to innovation and excellence.”
