CrowdStrike Gov Threat Summit Brings Together Public Sector Leaders to Discuss the Future of Cybersecurity

Leading voices from DHS, CISA, NSA and U.S. Senate to speak at marquee public sector cybersecurity event

CrowdStrike today announced its lineup of guest speakers, keynotes and sessions for the CrowdStrike Gov Threat Summit on March 19, 2024 in Washington D.C. at the Ronald Reagan Building.

Leaders from across the public sector will join CrowdStrike to discuss the future of cybersecurity and its impact on national security and upcoming elections. Speakers and sessions include:

“Adversary Underground – Gov Edition: The Dark Side of AI & Cyber Proliferation”

  • Generative AI, Misinformation, Disinformation and Cyber Threats for the 2024 Elections: CrowdStrike Head of Counter Adversary Operations, Adam Meyers will highlight how criminal groups, hacktivists, nation-state adversaries and geopolitical developments are impacting the threat environment for global elections in 2024.
  • Fireside Chat with Shawn Henry and Senator Mark R. Warner: CrowdStrike Chief Security Officer and former FBI Executive Assistant Director, Shawn Henry and U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Warner will have a conversation about strengthening the U.S.’s collective cybersecurity posture to defend against nation-state threats.
  • DHS Chief Information Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, Eric Hysen, on Leveraging AI for the Defenders Advantage: Mr. Hysen will discuss how DHS is leveraging AI to defend against threats with CrowdStrike VP, Cyber Policy and Privacy, Drew Bagley.

  • Shared Services for Government: A Unified Approach: A panel discussion with New York State Deputy Chief Cyber Officer for Operations, Jesse Sloman; CISA Associate Director Cybersecurity Division, Michael Duffy and AWS Director of Worldwide Public Sector Solutions Architecture, Alan Halachmi, on how the government and industry are sharing information and defeating threats together across distributed information environments.
  • Cybersecurity Platform Consolidation in Digital Transformation: CrowdStrike Chief Technology Officer, Elia Zaitsev will give a behind-the-scenes look at the security capabilities of the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon® XDR platform that are powering and protecting the public sector today.

The event will conclude with the “Adversary Underground – Gov Edition: The Dark Side of AI & Cyber Proliferation,” a deep dive session led by CrowdStrike’s head of counter adversary operations, Adam Meyers who will provide a detailed look into real-life adversary encounters from cyber defenders on the front lines.
