Attorney Coworking Concept Engage – Workspace for Lawyers Offers Fresh Take On Flexible Office Space

Coworking spaces will, and already have, become a desired option for attorneys. Solo attorneys and small firms have been using these flexible spaces for years. Unfortunately, as many in the legal community have discovered, most coworking spaces and executive suites lack the professionalism and privacy that attorneys need. Other coworking spaces in the Dallas area tend to be overcrowded, loud, and lack the privacy attorneys prefer. They cater to everyone, which means they cater to no one.

Engage – Workspace for Lawyers was created with attorneys in mind. Engage is run by CEO Chelsea Green, who has spent a decade running operations for a Dallas law firm and now consults for various law firms. “When Engage began over two years ago, the entire concept was centered around what solo attorneys and small law firms need. We make it as easy as possible for attorneys to plug into our environment and successfully run their practice,” says Green.

Engage provides amenities such as:

A professional address with a central location

Engage is located at Campbell Centre in a Class-A high rise. We provide easy access to North Central Expressway, Dallas North Tollway and LBJ Express. This location is convenient to downtown courts, as well as Uptown, Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Lake Highlands, Lakewood, and other neighborhoods where a large number of attorneys live. Members of Engage enjoy access to a private mailbox as well as package handling.

Conference space available to meet clients

Engage has four conference rooms that can accommodate anywhere between 4-14 guests. Use of the conference rooms is included in the monthly membership, and there are no overage fees. Having the ability to meet with clients easily and affordably is essential to attorneys, and that’s what Engage has provided.

Access to office supplies and printer

Having access to things like a printer, envelopes, and postage in one place can help save you time in your already busy day. Engage also offers its members digital faxing and on-site notary services, making your office the one-stop-shop that it should be. Coworking spaces shouldn’t charge extra for convenience, and that’s why all these services are included in the monthly membership fee.

Flexible membership

Having the flexibility to steadily grow your business is important. If you’re working virtual but start picking up in business and need to have a designated space, you should be able to do that without having to commit to three years. Being able to evaluate your business every year and adjust your needs is a necessity, especially to law firms who experience a lot of fluctuations.

Referral Network

Officing with other attorneys and professionals can help provide a community that you wouldn’t be able to find if you officed alone or at home. Engage provides a built-in networking to help with referrals and keep in touch with the legal community. In addition, being able to pick someone else’s brain about a case or problem can help you run a better practice.

Engage began helping attorneys long before the pandemic forced us all to redefine our normal, and they have continued to grow even during these stressful times. They currently have twenty-two law firms in their community and continue to grow. They offer a variety of membership levels: private offices, virtual offices, day desks, and mail-handling.
