Texas-based San Jacinto College has selected YuJa, Inc. to provide media streaming services districtwide. Combined, the college’s five campuses make up the San Jacinto Community College District, which serves more than 40,000 students in the Greater Houston area.
“We are always looking for exciting and innovative ways to bridge the communication gap with our students, faculty and staff. This partnership will allow San Jac to educate, engage and inspire our community as they work to meet their educational aspirations.”
District officials were seeking a cloud-based video streaming service that integrates with the Blackboard Learning Management System and provides an intuitive, easy-to-use platform for all users across devices.

“YuJa is an enterprise level system and will be integrated with the College’s learning management system, Blackboard, to provide faculty and students with a feature rich tool to support their instruction and learning. YuJa allows users to create, manage, edit, caption, share, and live stream video content in a secure platform,” the San Jac website says.

Training will be offered through December and January with the transition to YuJa as the instructional media platform to take place for the 2021 winter mini session.
