Human resources and employee benefits consulting firm acquires Independence, Ohio firm; continues regional, national growth
Findley, an independent human resources and employee benefits solutions firm with more than 250 associates serving more than 2,000 clients across the country, is deepening its human capital services with the addition of the TAMS Group human capital team, which joined Findley effective Friday, 15 February 2019.
Further positioning Findley for continued growth as a regional and national player in human capital services, the transaction with TAMS strengthens the firm’s services related to compensation and rewards, HR performance optimization, leadership and team development, and adds a retained search service for talent acquisition.

“As our clients are challenged with developing and retaining top talent, we are proud to deepen our resources and services in the human capital area,” said John Weber, managing principal of Findley. “The TAMS human capital team’s expertise and experience is impressive, and our cultures are well aligned.”
It is important to note that one sector of the TAMS Group – Human Resources Legal Compliance Support, which specializes in Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) – will remain with TAMS and will continue to operate under the TAMS Group name.

TAMS Group managing director, Dan Simovic, believes the move to join Findley will be good for TAMS clients and the region. “We will be able to bring more resources to bear and can address our clients’ needs in expanded areas of HR and benefits. Our clients will continue to work with the same experienced team they have worked with in the past.”
The acquisition of the TAMS Group human capital team marks the second acquisition for Findley in the past eight months.
