For a fourth consecutive year, PrideStaff, a national, franchised staffing organization, is pleased to announce that they were ranked on Staffing Industry Analysts’ annual list of the Largest Industrial Staffing Firms in the United States. PrideStaff ranked Number 46 on this elite list in 2021, a sign of their sustained excellence and growth in light industrial staffing and placement.
Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) estimates that 54 firms each generated at least $100 million in US industrial temporary staffing revenue in 2020, the primary criterion for inclusion in this year’s ranking. Added together, these companies created $25.9 billion in revenue, which accounts for 85% of the total market share within the growing light industrial segment.
In developing this list, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) defined “industrial” temporary staffing firms as those providing temporary workers that primarily fall into “blue-collar” occupations, such as manufacturing assemblers, machinists, welders, forklift operators, material movers, skilled trades workers, maintenance workers, food service workers, and agricultural workers. SIA defined “staffing” revenue as that generated from the provision of temporary workers to business clients, “temp-to-hire” conversions and “place & search” services like direct hire/permanent placement and retained search. Revenue from consulting services, process outsourcing, vendor management services, PEO and payrolling, online staffing and outplacement services was excluded from SIA’s calculations.
“It’s always an honor to be recognized as one of the largest US industrial staffing firms by Staffing Industry Analysts, and this year is especially meaningful,” said PrideStaff Co-CEO, Tammi Heaton. “Making this list for the fourth year running proves that our flexible staffing strategies and recruiting solutions have helped keep our clients’ businesses operating safely and profitably through one of the most trying periods in our nation’s history.”
“We’ve remained a leader in industrial staffing by focusing on what our clients and candidates value most,” continued Heaton. “Markets and conditions will continue to change, but PrideStaff continually innovates, adapts and plans for what’s next. By staying at the leading edge, we remain ideally suited to providing the solutions and exceptional experiences today’s employers and job seekers need.”
