WeWork Opens Monthly Record Number of New Buildings
Following notorious leadership changes and mass layoff, the coworking space provider WeWork reported that it has already opened a record 52 new buildings in cities across the world in December, with plans to open more in the same month. The firm continues to see strong demand for its Space-as-a-service platform, signing more than 280 new enterprise companies in the past 90 days.

Younger Generations 4x More Likely to Expect Yearly Promotions and Pay Raises Than Baby Boomers – Clutch
As per a new survey by Clutch, younger professionals are 4 times more likely than baby boomers to expect hard job advancements such as promotions and pay raises every year. While only 12% of workers over the age of 55 expect hard job advancements, around half of those between the ages of 18 and 54 expect yearly pay raises and promotions.
How Will the Updated Form W-4 Impact American Workforce and Non-resident Aliens – ADP
Not very long ago, IRS (The Internal Revenue Service) released a substantially revised Form W-4, Employee’s Withholding Certificate, which will feature a refreshed look and several new input fields that will replace the familiar “withholding allowances” box. The changes and the impact the updated Form W-4 will have on the workers were addressed and explained by ADP.
“While the updated form may initially elicit some confusion for employees, these important changes will ultimately simplify the ability to set and adjust withholding to achieve desired results, such as a specific tax refund amount,” said Pete Isberg, vice president of government affairs of ADP.
48% Of Companies That Offer Year-End Bonuses Plan To Increase Them – Robert Half
According to a survey by Robert Half, roughly 3 in 4 employers give out year-end bonuses and more than 50% of those surveyed expected a bonus this year. Rober Half study noted that around half of the respondents were positive of receiving a fatter paycheque. Almost all the respondents said that their organizations planned to either increase these incentives (48%) or keep them the same (48%) this year. Only 4% anticipated reducing the amount given to employees.
