A Week in HR Tech – TecHR Round-up for 30th March 2020 – Featuring Paychex, INCENTCO, LumApps and More

The Coronavirus pandemic is set to change how businesses function worldwide. With remote work taking center stage amid global lockdowns, the last week in HR Tech witnessed a bunch of “good samaritans” waiving fees or releasing free tools to enable better workplace productivity, wellness and employee morale!

“Remote work can be intimidating, especially for those who have never experienced working out of the office,” says Nina Cofer, Product Marketing Manager for Breezy HR. “It is key to keep communication methods open and encourage employees to ask questions. Try starting a ‘work from home’ slack channel or anonymous questions channel so that employees can share tips and tricks about remote working without feeling pressured or embarrassed.”

“First, let’s get one thing out of the way. Traditional interviews don’t actually predict performance. Rather, the best way to predict performance is to test job-related skills in context. And this should be done across all roles and all functions.”
