In 2019, she was promoted to the VP level, with responsibility for leading the long-term global strategy for the entire organization. During this time, her business support spanned nine locations, in five countries.

“Sugar is committed to attracting and retaining the best talent in this highly competitive industry. Each employee interaction provides a meaningful glimpse into their life and an opportunity to connect on a personal level. I strive to always make those personal connections and ensure that all employees feel like they can bring their full selves to the workplace,” said Sweeney. “Working in human resources where no two days are ever the same is what drives me.”
