Doug Flaherty, Formerly of Wells Fargo, Joins the $7 Billion Hybrid RIA’s New York City Headquarters

Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture,  announced that Doug Flaherty has joined the firm as Managing Director, Northeast. He will be based in Snowden Lane’s NYC office and focus principally on recruitment, as the firm looks to build on its strong growth and momentum.

Prior to Snowden Lane, Mr. Flaherty was a Senior Vice President and Complex Manager for Wells Fargo Advisors, heading their NYC International Private Client Services group where he was responsible for a 36-person Wealth Management team. In his almost 10 years at Wells Fargo, he oversaw the growth and success of Wells Fargo’s international efforts and helped the group become one of the top performing offices in the region. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at JP Morgan, Bear Stearns, Citi Smith Barney, Bank of America, Fleet Boston, and Quick & Reilly. He holds Series 3, 4, 7, 8, 24, 63, 65 and Life & Health Insurance licenses, and earned his BA in Business and Finance from Saint Michael’s College.

Mr. Flaherty’s international experience will be put to good use as Snowden Lane has established itself as the go-to RIA for advisors who cater to international clients.
