Avi Flombaum Joins Revature As Chief Product Officer

Revature, the largest employer of entry-level technology talent in the United States, today announced the appointment of Avi Flombaum to its executive leadership team as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Working closely with the senior executive team and board of directors, Flombaum will lead the company’s product development strategy and innovation initiatives.

“Avi has dedicated his career to closing the opportunity gap in tech by building scalable solutions that make training and ongoing skills development more accessible. Flombaum most recently served as Co-Founder, Dean and Chief Product Officer of Flatiron School, the award-winning Coding Bootcamp that helped over 5,000 people learn to code and begin careers as software engineers. As the co-founder of Flatiron School, Flombaum pioneered the Bootcamp model, wrote the curriculum, developed the teacher training program, and built the Learning Management System (LMS), Learn.co. In 2018, Flatiron School was acquired by WeWork and additionally sold 2U a license to the Learn.co platform. Prior to Flatiron, he founded DesignerPages.com, an application created to help tens of thousands of interior designers and architects find and manage design projects.

Revature has trained over 7,000 software engineers in 54 technical disciplines, recruited talent from 700 universities across 48 states, and deployed developers to blue-chip companies throughout the U.S. The company most recently launched its Workforce Transformation Program partnering with enterprises of all types and sizes, including UiPath, Accenture, and others, to provide Talent Assessment & Workforce Planning, Reskilling, and Upskilling planning and solutions.
