AkkenCloud provides staffing and recruiting agencies with tools to automate work processes. The ultigigs mobile app provides firms with an easy way for temps to access job details, report hours, and submit expenses. The app is especially useful for temporary workers that have mobile devices, but not computers.
Temporary employees can report hours with timesheets or an automated version of timecards that clocks them in and out in real time. Ultigigs uses biologins and geofencing to automate time tracking. Many workers are already familiar with biometric authentication to unlock their mobile devices, and geofencing employs radio frequencies and/or GPS to confirm their locations during work hours.

In addition to time tracking, the ultigigs app helps staffing and recruiting agencies spread the word about open positions. Job seekers can search for nearby jobs, share jobs with their networks, and get paid a referral fee if their friends are placed. By empowering temporary employees to see their earned referral bonuses, they become loyal brand ambassadors for the firms that place them.
“The pandemic changed the way staffing and recruiting firms manage their temporary workers. They need new tools, which is why we developed ultigigs,” said Giridhar Akkineni, CEO of AkkenCloud. “Our mobile app seamlessly integrates with the AkkenCloud platform, streamlining communications and reporting functions.”
