Employers in Japan that utilize the Benefit One employee benefits and incentives system will be able to provide video streaming to their workers as part of the Benefit One bundled services beginning in April 2023. Eligible employees can utilize “Kyutoku Payment” to deduct membership costs from payroll starting in June 2023, and as a bonus, they will receive a 10% point refund.

Subscription services for movies, TV shows, and music are commonplace; for example, US internet households using OTT services have an average of 5.7 services*. According to a recent Bango poll, 78% of consumers prefer a single platform to handle all of their subscription services**. Employee benefits providers like Benefit One and telecoms, merchants, and banks are ideally positioned to capitalize on this potential. These businesses may enhance customer engagement, retention, and the value of their end-customer relationships by offering a variety of the most recent subscription service offerings that are simple to access, sign up for, and pay for.

Bango Resale technology functions similarly to a digital vending machine, allowing Benefit One to swiftly and efficiently present the most appealing subscription options for its customers. With only one connection to the Bango Platform, a diverse selection of subscriptions may be given to customers, considerably saving development time and effort. This permits the rapid and easy installation of additional member perks for Benefit One.

“We’re excited to work with Benefit One to add the latest and greatest subscription services to their range of member benefits. Bango technology takes away the complexity and makes it as easy as possible to get to market fast with the products and services members really want.” Andy Suzuki, SVP SPAC at Bango

Including a video streaming service as a membership, the bonus is critical to providing the most attractive products and services. Benefit One was able to minimize time-to-market and rapidly and affordably offer additional perks using Bango Resale.
