Domo announced that it is a founding member of the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, a new pledge that companies can make through Parity.org to accelerate their goals of increasing diversity to strengthen their organizations.

“Diversity extends beyond gender. To truly get to where we want to go, we must build a more diverse pipeline of top talent, expand our networks and continue to place the creation of an inclusive and welcoming culture at the top of our priority list.”
Domo also announced it has extended its commitment to the ParityPledge by applying the pledge’s recruiting principles, designed for leadership roles, to all open positions throughout its organization.
Both moves are designed to help Domo accelerate its goal of becoming a stronger and more diverse organization.
In calling for “Equal Representation, Now,” the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color asks companies to commit to interviewing at least one qualified person of color for every open leadership role VP and higher, including the C-suite and board of directors.

Like the tenets of the ParityPledge for gender diversity, the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color has no hiring quotas or deadlines.
“We are so pleased to have Domo join us in their commitment as a founding member of this pledge,” said Cathrin Stickney, Parity.org founder and CEO. “Our original ParityPledge was created to close the gender gap in business, and we have always believed that equal representation of all groups was key to achieving that.
“But it’s clear that we can—and must—do more for communities of color. I hope that by bringing this simple pledge to the forefront, more companies will be open to changing how they recruit and hire underrepresented executives, because we need people of color at the table and in decision-making roles.”
