Earlier this year, Softdocs announced the formalization of a partnership with Jenzabar, a leading innovator and SIS/ERP provider in higher education. The two companies had begun partnership discussions and planning two years prior, with both sides committed to ensuring the partnership would provide Education with a strategic offering. Thus far, the newly formed partnership has already factored into the decision of several higher education institutions to move forward with Softdocs’ Etrieve platform to complement their Jenzabar solutions, supporting business processes campuswide and serving faculty, staff, students and vendors.
“In close coordination with Jenzabar, our focus is firmly on providing best-in-class ECM solutions to the Jenzabar community. We are confident in this partnership’s ability to meet the needs of these institutions, with scalable offerings built around content management functionality, electronic forms and workflow capabilities, or our full ECM platform—Etrieve,” said Andrew Daniel, Vice President of Sales at Softdocs. “An integrated solution, Etrieve by Softdocs is proving to be the right fit for Jenzabar institutions with no prior ECM solution, as well as those looking to migrate from outdated systems.”

North Carolina Wesleyan College, just one of the institutions moving ahead with Softdocs as their recently selected ECM partner, had been searching for an ECM solution that could be deployed enterprise-wide since 2019.
“Why Softdocs? Well, two reasons come to mind. First, Etrieve checked every requirement we outlined for a new solution-even eliminating our need to deploy multiple systems. Not only would Etrieve provide cohesion to our workflows, but the agility it provides as a cloud-based platform we view as a key part of our efforts to efficiently extend services to students, faculty and staff,” said Gregory Boykin, Director of Information Systems at North Carolina Wesleyan College. “Secondly, everyone we interact with at Softdocs displays a clear understanding of the challenges our college is facing and demonstrates that they possess every talent required to help us solve those problems by leveraging Softdocs’ Etrieve platform.”
