SkillStorm Announces Immersive Certification Program to Receive Reimbursement Under the VET TEC Pilot Program as a Preferred Provider

SkillStorm, an IT services and technology education company announces the approval of their Accelerator Immersive Certification Program by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veteran Employment through the Technology Education Courses (VET TEC) program as a preferred training provider. The VET TEC program allows U.S. Veterans to receive technical training without using any of their GI Bill benefits. To be eligible, a Veteran only needs one day of unexpired GI Bill entitlement.

SkillStorm offers full-time, online and in-person technology certification courses delivered by experienced instructors. These 16-week (640-hour) immersive courses are designed to train and certify students in the most in-demand technologies like AWS, Java and Appian. By enrolling in these courses and receiving industry-recognized certifications, veterans will be prepared to enter the tech industry as world-class developers with increased earning potential and marketability in the job market.

Participation in the VET TEC program does not count against a Veteran’s GI Bill entitlement. Veterans have to apply and be approved for VET TEC, but only need one day of unexpired entitlement left to participate. The VET TEC program covers the tuition, cost of the certification course and the veteran student will be paid a housing stipend during training.
