PeopleStrong Launches Taggd, an Independent Branch for Its Recruitment Solutions Business

Combination of data with human knowledge will lead the recruitment industry to new standards

India’s leading Talent Acquisition solution provider and HR technology company PeopleStrong announced the launch of Taggd on 15th of July, 2019. Taggd is an independent branch for the recruitment solutions business of the company. Taggd is an amalgamation of Technology, Intelligence, and Advisory for permanent hiring of candidates.

As more organizations are opting for the Digital Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) for their hiring needs, PeopleStrong will aim for a larger share in the recruitment market of the country.  Analysts estimate the size of the recruitment market in India to be somewhere around $1.8 billion. PeopleStrong currently owns a 15% stake in the Indian recruitment market and is looking at a figure of 25% by the tear 2022. With some of the renowned brands like Mahindra & Mahindra, Honeywell, Renault Nissan, Swiggy, Tata Motors, Oyo, and Wipro already as its customers, Taggd seems to be on the right track. It will serve 14 industries that will include engineering, technology, pharmacy, and automotive, with roles in the frontline, lateral and executive.

Devashish added, “In the past few years, we have seen adoption of digital recruitment solutions increase, especially in the new Internet segments too. While historically, large enterprises in traditional sectors saw a business case in RPO offering, however today, even new gen start-ups which are scaling are able to derive immense business benefits.”
