MediKeeper Appoints International Workplace Health Expert Dr. Tyler Amell to Leadership Team

As Chief Health and Strategy Officer, Dr. Amell Will Drive the Wellness Company’s Strategic Direction to Define and Meet Growing Market Opportunities

MediKeeper, a leading workplace wellness technology company, announced the appointment of Dr. Tyler Amell as Chief Health and Strategy Officer. An internationally recognized workplace health and productivity expert, Dr. Amell will be responsible for developing the strategy for the company and driving innovation initiatives for MediKeeper’s next-generation wellness platform. He brings significant strength to the leadership team as the company scales to meet growing demands for its wellness technologies, including wellness portals, a stand-alone HRA tool and a COVID Navigator mobile app. He will report directly to CEO David Ashworth.

In addition to his role at MediKeeper, Dr. Amell also serves on the executive board of directors of the National Wellness Institute and the Work Wellness Institute. Previously he served on the executive board of directors of the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) and the Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health. He has held a variety of senior positions, including CRO, CHO and CEO at wellness, technology, and healthcare organizations. Dr. Amell also holds an adjunct faculty position at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences, has given seminars and presentations at more than 200 events globally. He frequently publishes articles about workplace wellness in industry publications. On April 21st, he will present a keynote address at The Wellness Summit on the “Global future vision for creating a culture of wellness” in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
