“Google is proud to support this scholarship program aimed at developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through equipping them with fundamental skills to become a security professional as well as providing access to networking and community building opportunities”

This program is aimed at addressing the 3,000,000 unfilled cybersecurity job openings worldwide, and specifically, the disproportionately underrepresented women and minority populations. Students, unemployed professionals, and others looking to enter the cybersecurity field can build the essential skills needed for offensive and defensive work roles. Both training providers map their course and hands-on challenges to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, ensuring that recipients have marketable skills upon completion of the training.
