According to the Department of Labor’s Occupational Outlook Handbook, the demand for plumbers is growing at a faster-than-average rate, and by 2026 you should expect to see an additional 100,000 jobs in plumbing and HVAC-related fields. The average hourly rate for this type of work is upwards of $20 per hour after participating in on-the-job training through an apprenticeship.”
