Applications come from companies and government agencies around the world and feature corporate organizations, as well as solution providers. A panel of independent senior industry experts and Brandon Hall Group top analysts and executives evaluated the entries based upon the following criteria:
- Product: What was the product’s breakthrough innovation?
- Unique differentiators: What makes the product unique, and how does it differ from any competing products?
- Value proposition: What problem does the product solve, and what are the business needs?
- Measurable results: What are the benefits customers receive as a result of using this product?

“An Excellence Award also validates the vision of the technology development team, the wisdom of the company’s investment in the solution and the value the technology brings to the end-user,” said Mike Cooke, Chief Executive Officer of Brandon Hall Group.
Winners receive a special invitation to the HCM Excellence Conference, which runs February 4-6 at the Hilton West Palm Beach in Florida. The event is open to all HCM professionals and will feature selected winners of the HCM and Technology Excellence Awards programs as presenters and panelists. On February 5, they will honor award winners attending the conference. Each winning organization will receive a commemorative trophy onstage, recognizing their achievements.
