Recognising the impact the pandemic has had on mental health across the UK, particularly for those working in the NHS, MindBerry is providing all NHS heroes with the time and space needed to reflect and refocus. Doctors, nurses, delivery drivers, porters and cafeteria staff, to name a few, all play a vital role in the day to day functioning of the NHS and have faced a lot of pressure behind the scenes to keep the public safe. Every employee deserves equal support, despite their role, responsibilities and pay-grade. Since the start of the pandemic, over 2.3 million people have received therapy. Whilst the nation is learning to adapt to everyday life, new figures from 2021 show that over 50% of people are still concerned about their mental health, with around half experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood or depression – and the majority not seeking professional help. The mental health battle is far from over, and MindBerry are keen to offer their support to all those on the frontline who may need a safe space to talk. Sandra de Monte, Founder and Director, MindBerry Group said: “All NHS workers deserve our appreciation and support so we decided to offer them free access to our mental wellbeing sessions to lend an ear or simply a safe space to chat.”
