Degreed Elevates Max Wessel as Co-CEO to Drive Operational Excellence

Degreed, the global learning platform for workforce learning and skills development, is pleased to announce the appointment of Max Wessel as Co-CEO with Co-founder David Blake, effective immediately. In this role, Max will oversee the company’s end-to-end operations, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, driving product and technology innovation, and meeting customer needs.

Wessel joined Degreed as President in February 2024 and has since made a significant impact on the company’s product roadmap and customer focus. His deep engagement and energy in day-to-day operations have bolstered Degreed’s reputation for innovation and excellence in learning and skills development. Recognizing Wessel’s invaluable contributions, Blake and the Degreed Board have elevated him to Co-CEO.
