Capital Markets Veteran Brings Global Acquisition Experience
Upland Software, Inc., a leader in cloud-based enterprise work management software, announced the appointment of Teresa Miles Walsh to the company’s board of directors. Walsh is currently the CEO & Managing Director of Access Media Advisory LLC (AMA), a corporate advisory boutique focused on media sector clients.

Walsh founded AMA in 2003 and serves as CEO today. Prior to founding AMA, she was based in London as the vice chairman and managing director, European telecommunications, media and technology at Merrill Lynch. Walsh was the head of the European media investment banking group at Merrill Lynch from 1997 until 2002; from 1989 until 1996 she worked in various investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch, including the project and lease finance, utilities, and media groups. Walsh participated in transactions totaling in excess of $75 billion in deal value while at Merrill Lynch. She received her MBA with distinction in 1987 from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, also from Duke University.
