This First-Of-Its-Kind Reporting Tool Empowers Mentors to More Easily and Effectively Coach Staff Through Exam Studies.
Surgent Exam Review, an innovator in the exam prep market, recently introduced Firm360, a reporting dashboard that helps Human Resources and Learning & Development professionals at accounting firms better coach their staff through the exam review process, leading to higher pass rates and more productive employees. After learning from firm partners and mentors that the lack of insight into candidate exam progress was a critical gap, Surgent developed this unique product, which leverages real-time reports to enable designated mentors to more effectively coach exam candidates through their studies.

Through Firm360, mentors and firm leaders have instant access to the same reports that are generated for their firm’s candidates in Surgent’s exam prep software. This includes: their ReadySCORE, our estimate of what the candidates would score on the exam at their current knowledge level; diagnostic reports that benchmark each candidate’s starting point, details on their best- and worst topic areas, and an estimate of how long it will take them to get exam-ready; progress reports detailing each candidate’s study session progress by topic and question type; and video reports that indicate which instructional lectures the candidate has watched and for how long.
With the information in Firm360’s detailed reports, mentors and their staff can work together in one-on-one sessions to drill into the specific topic areas where the candidate shows lower comprehension levels. Mentors can also use the data from the candidate’s progress report to set study goals that can be easily tracked.

Firm360 includes the robust institutional controls necessary to fit the needs of large-scale institutions. Sophisticated administrative capabilities allow user management and segmentation so organizations of any size can ensure the appropriate administrators can access specific reporting and dashboarding for their designated candidate cohorts.
Since the data in Firm360 is provided in real time, candidates’ study progress is always up to date. The data can then easily be transformed into comprehensive reports for upper management, mentors, Learning & Development teams, and Human Resources departments to track cohort progress, help candidates work together on weaker knowledge areas across the cohort, and estimate each candidate’s time until exam readiness.
