SIA Unveils the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing 2019

Annual List Honors Female Industry Leadership

Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions, has announced the Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list for 2019. In its fifth year, this annual list recognizes the women who stand out as leaders and influencers in the global talent marketplace. The Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list is sponsored by Bullhorn.

Comprising the Americas 100 and the International 50, the Global Power 150 list is not a ranking but a way to shine a spotlight on women in leadership positions and to recognize the significant contributions and influence of women industry-wide. This diverse set of leaders, from CEOs and entrepreneurs to division heads, technologists and attorneys, help shape a $490 billion global staffing industry each day. The 2019 list includes 64 women who are being named to the list for the first time.

“The women named to this year’s Global Power 150 list play an important role in bringing value to the workforce solutions ecosystem, elevating not only the bottom line for their organizations but lifting up their teams through a passionate focus on employee development and creation of positive and inclusive cultures in which talent thrives,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA. “As we celebrate this year’s honorees for their achievements in taking the industry forward, we also continue to be inspired by women across companies big and small bringing benefit to business and society, and share in the desire to see more women with a seat at the table.”

“Bullhorn is proud to once again support the SIA Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list, which puts a deserved spotlight on this impressive group of leaders in the global staffing and recruiting industry,” said Art Papas, Founder and CEO of Bullhorn. “Though numbers have grown in recent years, McKinsey reports there is still less than 30 percent female representation for top leadership roles in North America alone. It is crucial that we recognize these role models, and support and celebrate continued advances.”

The Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing website debuts the full 2019 list this week, showcasing these inspiring leaders and the impact they have on the industry. The Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing International 50 will be honored at the upcoming Executive Forum Europe in London on November 19th, while profiles of the Americas 100 are featured in the November/December 2019 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine
