Following a completion of an ECFC certification program, ECFC members will earn a digital badge containing metadata describing their qualifications and credentials, including how they earned their achievements. ECFC’s Digital Badging also allows members to display their badges in email signatures, electronic resumes, on Linked-In profiles and anywhere they want to be recognized for attaining a new level of knowledge or a specific skill set.

By utilizing ECFC Digital Badging, members can increase their visibility, position themselves for advancement, and differentiate themselves in the job market. Other benefits include:

  • A web-enabled version of certification that can be shared online
  • A more efficient way of posting to social media platforms
  • Labor market insights that relate skills to jobs
  • A trusted method for real-time certification verification

In addition, ECFC Digital Badging gives managers another tool in their career development program by allowing them to track engagement and monitor how many employees are downloading badges and how they are being used.
